We’re so excited to be hosting Brittney Boyd Bullock for her exhibition “Soft Space” during this month's Trolley Night!
The artist talk will begin at 4PM and the reception will begin at 6PM. This exhibition is a response to the Tennessee Triennial theme of RE-PAIR.
Brittney Boyd Bullock is a visual artist living and working in Memphis. As an artist working in fiber, mixed media, and abstraction, her practice explores the power and connection felt when we slow down to reimagine and reframe the observable world. Outside of her studio practice, she is a non-profit arts consultant, educator, and arts advocate.
Boyd Bullock describes creativity as a “conduit for our well-being” and a bridge that connects us to the voices of artists and people from the past. She invites us all to sit in a place of inquiry and redefine how, why, and for what purposes we create.
